@HerdSB Announces Fall Ball Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall softball team released Tuesday its schedule of fall ball games for 2016. The schedule features seven games against local teams as well as Ohio State and two Team Toronto.
The Herd will begin fall ball exhibition games Saturday, Sept. 24 against Kentucky Christian at the Championship Fastpitch Athletic Complex in Ashland, Ky. The single game is set to begin at 12 p.m.
Marshall will have six home games during the fall as the Herd welcomes the Ohio Bobcats, Shawnee State Bears and Team Toronto.
The Herd will hit the road one other time in the fall with a double header played in Columbus on Oct. 9. The first game will be against Ohio State with the second contest of the twin-bill with Eastern Michigan.
There is also still limited space available for the fall camp, Saturday Oct. 1. Oct. 8 - vs. Shawnee State at Dot Hicks Field - DH begins at 1 p.m.
Oct. 9 - at Ohio State - 11 a.m.
Oct. 9 - vs. Eastern Michigan at Columbus, Ohio - 1:30 p.m.
Oct. 14 - vs. Team Toronto at Dot Hicks Field - DH begins at 2 p.m.
