@HerdMBB Adds Six Games to Television Schedule

IRVING, Texas - The Marshall men's basketball team will play six additional nationally-televised games this upcoming season as announced by the Conference-USA office on Tuesday.

"Along with our previously announced nationally-televised games against Ohio State, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, we are excited to have the opportunity to expose Marshall University to a broader market," head coach Dan D'Antoni said. "We are thrilled about showcasing our program in front of a national audience and the continued exposure of our program."

The Thundering Herd will be broadcasted on beIN Sports when it travels to Middle Tennessee on Jan. 12 and again when it hosts Old Dominion on Feb. 23. The American Sports Network (ASN) will broadcast Marshall's home games against WKU on Jan. 21 and Middle Tennessee on Feb. 18 and when it travels to Charlotte on Feb. 25. CBS Sports Network will broadcast the Herd when it hosts UAB on Feb. 16.

The four straight national television broadcasts from Feb. 16-25 marks the first time Marshall has been a part of four nationally televised games in-a-row since the 2011-12 season (Jan. 18-28).

These games join previously-announced Thundering Herd television games at Ohio State (Nov. 25, Big Ten Network), at Cincinnati (Dec. 22, CBSSN) and at Pittsburgh (Dec. 28, Atlantic Coast Conference Network Extra.

To date, More than 40 nationally-televised games featuring Conference USA teams have been announced as part of the initial schedule released.

National games will be televised this season on partners CBS Sports Network, American Sports Network and beIN SPORTS, along with some selected games as part of tournaments and other conference's television deals. Games on Campus Insiders and ESPN3 will be announced at a later date. Additional coverage of C-USA basketball will also be available online through CUSA TV, available exclusively on the league's official website www.ConferenceUSA.com.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2016-17 season are on sale now through the Marshall Athletic Ticket Office for as low as $10.00 per game, and season ticket renewals have been mailed.
