Young Wins Diver of the Week

Huntington, W.Va. -- Maddie Young was named Conference USA Diver of the week Wednesday by the league office following an excellent performance this past weekend at the West Virginia Games.
Young scored an impressive 238.75 on the 3-meter Diving event, earning herself a second place finish just behind West Virginias Averly Hobbs. She continued to compete in day two of the West Virginia Games earning a 5th place finish in the 1-meter Dive, scoring 241.50. Young performed some of her best scores this past weekend, allowing herself to win week ones Diver of the week.
Marshall Swimming and Diving will return to Fitch Natatorium Friday, October 17 to compete against the Ohio Bobcats.
