Dual Meet Against Ohio Set for Friday Night

Marshall vs. Ohio for the 11th Straight Year
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall swimming and diving will return to the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium at the Cam Henderson Center Friday, October 19 at 5 p.m. to take on the Ohio University Bobcats. Admission to the meet is free.

Marshall returns to the pool after a second place finish last week in the West Virginia Games in Huntington. The Herd finished just behind West Virginia University with a team score of 1085.5.
Marshall and Ohio have history, competing for what will be 11 years straight. Ohio has won seven of those 11 encounters. However, Marshall has claimed the last two years from the Bobcats. The Herd claimed their first win in the 2014-15 season.
The Bobcats were picked sixth in the MAC Preseason Poll. Ohio enters the meet with a loss to Miami of Ohio, 171-129. Ohio finished the 2017-18 season with a seventh place finish in the Mid-American Conference Championships.
