Inclement weather shortens invitational to two days
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Marshall's final fall tennis tournament of the season will now start Saturday, as Friday's opening day at the CofC Classic was cancelled due to inclement weather in the area.

Marshall will be paired with a split squad from Winthrop for the duration of the tournament and will begin play at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with doubles matches against Samford. The Herd will then play two rounds of singles matches, first against Coastal Carolina and then against the host institution, College of Charleston.

The Herd will conclude play Sunday with two doubles sessions (against Coastal Carolina and College of Charleston, order TBD) and a singles session against Samford.
