HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall women's soccer head coach Kevin Long announced the addition of Tesia Schray (Huntington, W.Va.) to the 2018 signing class on Wednesday.

Schray will be immediately eligible for the 2018 fall season.

"We are excited to bring in one of Huntington's own," Long said. "Tesia has been a strong presence in the middle of the field as both a center back and center midfielder. She has terrific vision and great range with the ball. I am eager to see her ball-winning and defensive tendencies lead her into an impacting position within our team."

Schray, a 5-10 midfielder and defender, joins the Herd from Huntington HS, where she was named to the state's all-conference first team her junior and senior years, while she was an honorable mention during her sophomore year. A two-sport athlete, Schray also excelled in track from her freshman through her junior year of high school.

Not only limited to success on-the-field, Schray is a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta and owns a 4.6 GPA.
