Marshall Swimming and Diving Earns Academic Recognition Once Again

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall’s Swimming and Diving program has been named to the Scholar All-America list by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) once again.
The program’s 3.60 GPA during the 2018 spring semester was ranked 23rd nationally with Duquesne, East Carolina, Gardner Webb, Harvard, Kansas, Missouri State, Notre Dame, and Providence. Marshall was second in Conference USA to Rice (3.80) and ahead of FIU (3.53), North Texas (3.36), Florida Atlantic (3.27) and Old Dominion (3.26).
The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.
This is the third consecutive season that the program has been recognized as one of the nation’s elite in terms of its classroom success.
