Women’s Golf Next Tournament the Pirate Collegiate Cancelled

Event to be hosted by East Carolina cancelled due to threat of Hurricane Florence
GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Marshall women's golf team was scheduled to play in the Pirate Collegiate Classic, hosted by East Carolina, on Sept. 17-18. The event has been canceled due to the potential threat of widespread flooding and damage from Hurricane Florence.
The Thundering Herd is currently looking to potentially schedule another tournament for later in the fall.
Marshall just returned from the William & Mary Invitational where the team took first place and junior Shelby Brauckmuller brought home the individual award.
The next tournament on the schedule for Marshall is the Old Dominion Fall Invitational on Oct. 5-7 in Virginia Beach, Va.
