Softball Announces 2018 Fall Ball Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – First year head coach Megan Smith announced the Marshall softball team's fall ball schedule Thursday afternoon. The exhibition games get rolling with a Green & White Scrimmage on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 12 p.m., from Dot Hicks Field.

"The team and I are really excited for our upcoming fall games," coach Smith said. "It will be great for our staff to see how the players compete and for us to get an idea of areas that we need to focus on during team practices this fall."

All of the Herds games will be at Dot Hicks this fall and will be played during the weekend.

Following the Green & White scrimmage, Marshall welcomes Fairmont State, West Liberty, Wheeling Jesuit and West Virginia Tech.

The full schedule with dates and times is as follows:
Sept. 29 – Green & White Scrimmage 12 p.m. (single game)
Oct. 6 – Fairmont State 1 p.m. (single game)
Oct. 7 – West Liberty 1 p.m. (doubleheader)
Oct. 13 – Wheeling Jesuit 12 p.m. (doubleheader)
Oct. 14 – West Virginia Tech 1 p.m. (single game)

Admission to all games is free.
