Thundering Herd begins 2019 at home

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's swimming and diving team will return to the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium for competition against the SEC's Vanderbilt University. The meet will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.

The Herd is swimming its inaugural meet of 2019 and the first for the team in more than a month.

In its last meet, Marshall finished fifth at the Zippy Invitational (December 1-2), hosted by the University of Akron. A total of 10 teams competed in the meet.

Vanderbilt currently sits 1-2 in dual meets on the season. This will be the Commodores' first competition of the new year, their first in over a month as well.
