HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall men's basketball carries a three-game winning streak into a contest against the Northern Iowa Panthers on Sunday afternoon at the McLeod Center in Cedar Falls.

Redshirt sophomore Iran Bennett collected the first double-double of his career with 21 points and 16 rebounds, both career-highs, in a win over Eastern Kentucky on Thursday night.
Freshman Marko Sarenac scored 11 points for his first career game in double-figure scoring in the contest.
Bennett's 16 rebounds were the most by a Thundering Herd men's basketball player since Adjin Penava grabbed 15 on Dec. 28, 2017 against Southern Miss. His 30 minutes were one fewer than his career-high 31 set at then-ranked No. 24 Florida on Nov. 29.
The win was the 101st of Dan D'Antoni's career.
Marshall's 45 points in the paint and 25 bench points are its most against a Division I opponent this season.
SCOUTING NORTHERN IOWA
The Panthers enter the contest with a 10-1 record and are on a four-game win streak.
AJ Green leads UNI with 15.9 points per game, 37 assists and is tied for first with 10 steals this season.
Trae Berhow is shooting 53.1 percent from three-point range making 34 of his 64 attempts from beyond-the-arc.
Northern Iowa is averaging 76.8 points per game this season and is outrebounding its opponents by average of six boards per game.
Its lone loss came to the West Virginia Mountaineers at the Cancun Classic on Nov. 26 60-55. UNI has wins over South Carolina, at Grand Canyon, at Colorado and at home against Old Dominion.
