Clark Named Conference USA Field Athlete of the Week

Thundering Herd thrower honored

Marshall Track and Field senior Hasana Clark has been named the Conference USA Female Field Athlete of the Week.

Last weekend, Clark competed in weight throw at the QDOBA Marshall Invitational, where she broke the school record and the Marshall Invitational record. The Raleigh, N.C. native topped the previous school record, set by herself last season, with a mark of 20.48 meters (67 feet 2.25 in.).

Her mark is currently the top weight throw mark in Conference USA and the 25th-best mark in the nation, per USTFCCCA.

Clark will look to continue her strong season later this week, as the Thundering Herd heads to Birmingham, Alabama for the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships.
