FRISCO, Texas –  Marshall men's basketball opens the 2019 Conference USA Men's Basketball Tournament as the sixth seed and will face Rice in the first round on Wednesday night.

HAVE YOU HERD
Jon Elmore was named First-Team All-Conference USA on Monday. He is the first player to be named first-team three times in conference history.
 
C.J. Burks garnered third-team all-conference honors, while Taevion Kinsey was named to the conference's all-freshmen team.
 
Marshall is on a five-game win streak.
 
Kinsey has scored 10 or more points in the last six contests.
 
Elmore needs 70 points to pass Skip Henderson as the all-time leader in program history.
 
The Herd dropped its lone contest of the season against the Owls on Feb. 9.
