Women’s Golf to Tee off at the Memphis Women’s Intercollegiate

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. – The Marshall women's golf team is back in action Monday and Tuesday at the Memphis Women's Intercollegiate, at the Ridgeway Country Club.
The first two rounds will be played on Monday, April 1, with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. eastern. The third and final round is set for Tuesday, April 2, with a 9:30 a.m. eastern shotgun start as well. The Ridgeway Country Club is a par 71 with total yardage of 6,105. Live scoring is provided through GolfStat.
Playing for Marshall in the tournament will be senior Ylva Forslund, junior Shelby Brauckmuller, juniors Stormy Randazzo and Kerri Parks, and freshman Jackie Schmidt.
The Herd, ranked 93rd in the GolfStat rankings, is one of 14 teams in the tournament. The other programs participating are Arkansas State, UAB, Central Arkansas, Cincinnati, Little Rock, (No. 70) Memphis, (No. 67) Middle Tennessee, Missouri State, (No. 51) Penn State, Southern Miss, (No. 94) Toledo, Troy and WKU.
Marshall is coming off a runner-up finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate (March 17-19). Brauckmuller, ranked No. 200 in the country in the GolfStat Top-250, also finished in second place on the leaderboard. It was the Herd's fourth top-two finish of the 2018-19 season.
The Memphis Women's Intercollegiate is the final tournament of the regular season for Marshall as next up will be the Conference USA Championships, April 15-17.
