HUNTINGTON, W.Va. –  Marshall men's basketball prepares to host FIU on Wednesday night in the Cam Henderson Center in its penultimate game of the regular season.

HAVE YOU HERD
Jon Elmore is now the all-time scoring leader in Conference USA history and is 104 points from passing Skip Henderson to become the all-time leader.
 
Elmore was named C-USA player of the week on Mar. 4.
 
The win over North Texas marked the first road sweep for Marshall in conference play since winning games on Jan. 3 at Old Dominion and Jan. 5 at Charlotte.
 
The 12-point half-time deficit was the largest overcome by the Herd this season.
 
Marshall made an overall comeback of 14 points, the second-largest comeback of the season for the Herd.
 
The Herd's comeback marked just the third halftime deficit overcome this season.
 
This was the sixth contest that the Herd have had more second-chance points than its opponents.
 
It was the sixth win on a televised game this season by Marshall.
 
Kinsey scored 13 of his 19 points in the second half.
 
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Florida International comes into the contest with a record of 18-11, including a 9-7 record in Conference USA action.
 
The Panthers are coming off a home victory over Louisiana Tech.
 
FIU leads C-USA in scoring with 84.0 points per game.
 
The Panthers have been outrebounded by their opponents, by an average of 7.0 boards per contest.
 
FIU only turns the ball over about 14.1 times per game.
 
WHO TO KNOW
Brian Beard, Jr. is the offensive leader for Florida International at 17.3 points per game. Beard, Jr. has taken and made the most shots from the field for the Panthers. He has also been a force on the defensive end of the court with a team-leading 89 steals.
 
Devon Andrews is the team's second-leading scorer with 15.3 points per contest and is second behind Beard Jr. in steals with 45.
 
Osasumw Osaghae is FIU's leading rebounder with 8.2 boards per game and has 77 of the team's 131 blocks.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The Herd is 7-1 against FIU in the all-time series and took an earlier meeting at the Henderson Center earlier in the season.
