Softball Doubleheader at Morehead State Postponed Due to Weather

Games will be played April 30 at Morehead State
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Wednesday doubleheader between the Marshall softball team and the Morehead State Eagles has been postponed due to weather. The contests have been moved to April 30, at 1 and 3 p.m., in Morehead, Ky.

Temperatures in Morehead on Wednesday will be right around 30 degrees.

The regional rivalry of Marshall and Morehead State began back in 1994, the Herd's first season on the field. The teams have met 38 times over the years and Marshall leads the all-time series 29-9.

The Herd (14-5) now turns its attention to the Cherry Blossom Festival in Fairfax, Va., hosted by George Mason. The tournament is Friday through Sunday, March 8-10, and Marshall will play five games against Monmouth (twice), George Mason (twice) and Lafayette (once).
