HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall's Swimming and Diving program has been named to the Scholar All-America list by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association once again.

The program's 3.59 GPA was ranked 36th nationally and was the top mark in Conference USA.

"Our coaching staff is very proud of the women and support staff for another exceptional semester," said Marshall head coach Ian Walsh. "This marks the 10th semester in a row that we've had a 3.5 Team GPA or higher. Our tradition of excellence in the classroom is something our program is known for and we look forward to building upon this in the years to come."

The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is the fourth consecutive season that the program has been recognized as one of the nation's elite in terms of its classroom success.
