Herd to play seven games at Dot Hicks Field in September and October

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall softball head coach Megan Smith released the team's fall ball exhibition schedule on Wednesday. The Thundering Herd will play seven games at Dot Hicks Field between September and October.

The first fall ball action will be a Green & Black Scrimmage on Saturday Sept. 28 at 10 a.m. The first time the Herd plays another team will be the very next day on Sept. 29 as Ohio Valley comes to Huntington for a doubleheader with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

Marshall will face three opponents in October. The first will be West Liberty for a single game on the sixth at 1 p.m. Next, West Virginia State will play a single game on Oct. 13 at 1 p.m., and finally a doubleheader versus Fairmont State on Oct. 19 beginning at 1 p.m.

Games are free to attend and will not be broadcasted.
