Action is set to take place in Charleston
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's tennis is set to begin the 2019-20 season on Sept. 20-22 at the Marshall University/West Virginia University Invitational in Charleston, W.Va. Action will take place at the Schoenbaum Tennis Courts.
This is the first collegiate invitational tournament co-hosted in Charleston, W.Va. by Marshall and WVU. The goal for the tournament is to have a great weekend of tennis in order to prepare our players and teams for the spring season as well as to positively impact the tennis community in West Virginia.
Marshall has four returners, including junior Anna Smith. Smith was named second-team all-conference at the conclusion of the 2018-19 season by Conference USA.
