HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd men's hoops returns home after a two-game home swing to take on the Ohio Bobcats Sunday afternoon in the Cam Henderson Center.

The Herd is returning home after winning consecutive non-conference road games for the first time since 2011.
Marshall is on a six-game winning streak going back to the end of last season. A win on Sunday would mark the first seven-game win streak since the 2009-10 campaign.
On Wednesday at the College of Charleston, Jannson Williams scored a season-high 19 points and went 4-for-8 on three-point attempts.
Jarrod West also poured 19-points in the basket on Wednesday in the victory tying his season-high from when he scored 19 in the win at Wright State in the previous game.
Taevion Kinsey scored 13 points and had nine assists. The junior guard has now scored 10 or more points in 50 of the last 58 games.
Darius George's 11 points against the Cougars, marked the first time in his career at Marshall he has had 10 or more points in three consecutive games.
West and Kinsey are closing in on becoming the 55th and 56th members of the 1,000-point club for the men's basketball program. West needs 11 points and Kinsey needs 26.
Williams also had two blocks at College of Charleston and has 156 for his career. He is now 27 away from breaking Hassan Whiteside's program record of 182
THE SERIES
This will be the 105th meeting between the two programs. Ohio is the second most played opponent in the history of Marshall men's basketball only to the 118 games played against Charleston (W.Va.). The Bobcats lead the all-time series 56-48.
SCOUTING OHIO
Jeff Boals is in his second year at the helm of Bobcats. This season Ohio's only loss was at No. 6 Illinois by a 77-75 final.
Jason Preston has been a big cog in the Ohio offense this season as he's averaging 19.4 points and 8.4 assists per game. Preston was named Mid-American Conference Player of the Week on Nov. 30 for his effort at the Illinois MTE during the first week of the season.
Dwight Wilson is nearly averaging a double-double in Athens this season with 14.2 points per game, second behind Preston, and a team-leading 9.6 rebounds.
Ben Vander Plas has a team-leading 10 steals and is third in scoring with 13.0 points per contest.
