The pairing defeated the No. 3 ranked pairing in the country
IRVING, Texas – Marshall women's tennis student-athletes Liz Stefancic and Jutte Van Hansewyck were named Conference USA Co-Women's Tennis Athletes of the Week
Stefancic and Van Hansewyck upset the No. 3 pairing in the country of Martinelli and Gong from Yale on Friday in New Haven, Conn. They followed that up with a victory over Fordam's top pairing of Aude and Quenville on Sunday as the Herd defeated Fordham 6-1.
Stefancic also went 1-1 in singles on the weekend.
