Softball Doubleheader with Akron Moved to Wednesday

Games rescheduled due to rain

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall softball team's first home games of the 2020 season against the Akron Zips have been moved back to Wednesday due to rain in the forecast.

The doubleheader was originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 3. Now the teams that have met previously 33 times before, but not since 2012, will begin with first pitch at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4 at Dot Hicks Field.

The games will be broadcast on HerdVision/CUSAtv as well as 88.1 WMUL-FM with audio streamed online at www.marshall.edu/wmul.

The Herd returns home with an overall record of 13-5.
