Marshall Football Season Update - A Letter To Season Ticket Holders

2020 football season on schedule to be played this fall.
First and foremost, all of us at Marshall Athletics hope that you and your loved ones are staying safe during these times. As we enter this football season, in which we have arguably the best schedule in school history, our vision and our primary focus as an athletic department is for the health and safety for everyone who is part of the Herd Family.
Over the past weeks and months in coordination with our university, the NCAA and Conference USA, we have been preparing for the 2020 football season to be played on time this fall. Make no mistake about it – everyone across the country has been working toward there being a football season this year and we plan on it starting for us in Greenville, North Carolina, against ECU on August 29 before returning here to Huntington on September 12 against ACC opponent Pittsburgh.
While we do not believe, at this time, that there will be any changes made to the football schedule or for fans not being able to attend the games live and in-person, we have prepared a few different ticket options in the unlikely event that the season is cancelled or fans are not permitted inside the stadium while the games are played. These options are:
The football season ticket renewal deadline is Friday, May 29. A no-interest payment plan is available to allow your football season ticket order to be spread out and paid in increments until August.

- Season ticket holders will have the option to transfer any payments to the following football season as a credit for next season's tickets.
- Season ticket holders will have the option to apply any payments made as a tax deductible donation to the Marshall Athletics Department and Big Green Scholarship Foundation.
- Season ticket holders will have the option to receive a refund for any cancelled games a part of the 2020 football season.
