HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Thundering Herd men's basketball team heads to Miami to face off with FIU in a pair of games this weekend.

The Herd fell to Western Kentucky in its last game on Sunday, 69-67.
Taevion Kinsey scored 16 points and brought down 12 rebounds for his first double-double of the season and the fifth of his career. His 12 rebounds set a new career-high.
Andrew Taylor has scored 10 or more points in two of his last three games.
Jannson Williams now has 175 career blocks, five from tying Ajdin Penava for second-most in program history.
MU outscored WKU in the paint, 26-24.
Marshall is fourth in NCAA Div. I men's basketball in blocked shots per game at 6.1.
Jarrod West is fifth in the country in steals per game at 2.82.
West leads Conference USA in assists with 71.
SCOUTING FIU
Jeremy Ballard is in his third season as head coach at FIU.
Antonio Daye, Jr., leads the Panthers in scoring and assists per game at 18.0 and 5.0, respectively.
Meanwhile, Rashad Davis is second in scoring at 13.3 points per contest, while bring down a team-best 6.1 boards per game.
FIU has been a force on the defensive end of the court as it leads the C-USA steals with 129 and three-point defense as opponents only make 11.1 percent from behind the arc against the Panthers.
