Marshall Head Coach Ian Walsh
"This morning we were a bit off around some of our race details. We talked about cleaning up certain areas and making adjustments tonight. Collectively, we made great improvements and really embraced the idea of process over outcome.
"We had three new all-time Top 10 performances tonight which included Or Tamir's 100 Back leadoff along with our two 400 Medley Relays … exceptional performances by those eight individuals. Kailee Payne (10th, 216.65) moved up the point rankings and had a fantastic showing tonight on 3-meter board. Every athlete walked away with either a season best or lifetime best. That doesn't happen very often in meets like this." "Today was probably our weakest session when it comes to our primary events. The team is in a great spot and we look forward to carrying this momentum into (Saturday) morning."
