Marshall Tennis Drops Road Match At JMU

The Herd’s lone point came from clinching doubles
HARRISONBURG, Va.—The Marshall tennis team dropped its road match against the James Madison University Dukes on Friday afternoon with a final score of 6-1.
Marshall fell to 6-6 on the season while the Dukes improved to 10-3 overall.

The Herd picked up an early 1-0 lead over the Dukes after securing the doubles point with a win by partners Anna Smith and Daniela Dankanych, 6-4, and a win from Madison Riley and Madi Ballow, 6-3.

However, the Dukes fought back and claimed every singles match to take the overall victory.
