HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall softball head coach Megan Smith Lyon announced the Herd's fall ball schedule on Tuesday. The Thundering Herd will play eight games at Dot Hicks Field in October.

The Herd will welcome four teams to Huntington.

The first fall ball action for the 2021-22 squad is a doubleheader against the Potomac State Catamounts scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2, with first pitch at 12 p.m. Marshall will get right back at it the very next day, Sunday Oct. 3, with a doubleheader versus the Davis & Elkins Senators. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. as well.

The Herd's next opponent is the Kentucky Christian Knights with a doubleheader set for Saturday Oct. 16, beginning at 12 p.m. Finally, Marshall concludes its fall ball schedule with a doubleheader on Sunday, Oct. 17 versus the Fairmont State Falcons. First pitch set for 12 p.m.
