Herd Swimming and Diving Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Honor

Marshall tied for third-highest GPA among Division I women's swimming and diving programs
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University swimming and diving team was named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team for its efforts in the classroom in the fall.
The Herd's 3.75 GPA tied for third among all Division I women's swimming and diving programs in the country.
"Our staff is so proud of what our women accomplished this semester," Marshall swimming and diving head coach Ian Walsh said. "Our team continues to excel in the classroom and have truly embodied what it means to be a student-athlete here at Marshall. We have set a new standard, besting our previous highest mark from 2016, holding the third-highest team GPA across all Division I programs in the country this past semester. We look forward to setting a new standard of excellence for years to come."
MU is back in the pool on Friday at 5 p.m. when it hosts Bowling Green in the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium for Senior Day.
