McLatchey Finishes Tied for Second, Women’s Golf Fifth at Butler Fall Classic

McLatchey shot four-over par during final 18 holes
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Marshall University women's golf team closed out the Butler Fall Classic on Tuesday in fifth as sophomore Emily McLatchey finished tied for second at the event.
"I'm so unbelievably proud of Emily and the way she's been such a leader for us," Herd women's golf head coach Brooke Burkhammer said after McLatchey's finish. "Another good week for the Herd and now we prepare for ECU. Excited to get back on the road with this team. Lots of fun to be around!"
McLatchey closed out the final 18 holes with a four-over par 74 to secure her top-three finish.
Hanna Shrout had her best-round of the tournament in the final round as she shot a six-over par 76.
