Marshall Softball at Georgia Tech Sunday Contest Canceled

Herd will return to action Feb. 18-20 in Battle at the Beach

ATLANTA - Marshall softball's team bus was involved in an accident following the Thundering Herd's 6-4 win over Saint Joseph's, Saturday night at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta.

Two individuals from the travel party were treated for minor, non-life threatening injuries and released from a local hospital Sunday morning following the accident.

Out of an abundance of caution, Marshall and Georgia Tech have made the decision to cancel today's scheduled 1 p.m. game and the Thundering Herd will return to Huntington later today.

Marshall will be back in action Friday at the Battle at the Beach in Conway, S.C., Feb. 18-20.
