Marshall will honor Mikel Beyers, Darius George and Taevion Kinsey in a Senior Day ceremony prior the game.
HAVE YOU HEARD
The Herd fell on the road to the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders on Thursday, 74-65.
Redshirt sophomore Andrew Taylor poured in a game-high 24 points. The guard made eight of his 17 shots from the field, including 4-for-8 from three-point range.
Freshman Obinna Anochili-Killen followed with 14 points on a 6-for-8 night from the field to go with eight rebounds.
Junior Taevion Kinsey and Mikel Beyers each had 10 points. Beyers grabbed a season-high nine boards.
The Herd made a three in its 999th consecutive game, with the last contest without a triple occurring on Feb. 27, 1989, in a win over App State.
Kinsey has scored 10 or more points in 60 of his last 61 games.
Taylor has tallied at least 10 points in his last 10 games The native of Corbin, Kentucky, has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season.
MU won the battle in the paint 34-28.
Beyers has tallied 10 or more points in four of the last five games.
Taylor has led Marshall in scoring in five of the last seven games.
SCOUTING WESTERN KENTUCKY
The Hilltoppers come into the contest following a loss to Middle Tennessee on Saturday.
Dayvion McKnight leads WKU with 15.8 points per game and 5.8 assists per contest.
Jamarion Sharp leads the conference in blocks with 130 while bringing down a team-high 7.2 rebounds per game.
