Softball at Bellarmine Canceled due to Weather

Herd adds doubleheaders at Akron and Radford
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall softball team's doubleheader at the Bellarmine Knights set for Tuesday at Knights Field in Louisville, Kentucky, has been canceled due to weather. Heavy amounts of rain are expected beginning early Tuesday morning.

Due to other games canceled for weather, the Thundering Herd has added a few games to its schedule. Marshall was originally set for a single game at Akron on March 29, that has now been changed to a doubleheader with first pitch of game one at 2 p.m. The Herd has also picked up a doubleheader at the Radford Highlanders on April 5, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 3 p.m.

Marshall returns to action at home this coming weekend, March 25-27, against the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders for a three-game Conference USA series. The Herd and the Blue Raiders will play a single game each day of the series. Game one is Friday, March 25, at 1 p.m. Game two is Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m., followed by the series finale on Sunday, March 27, at 12 p.m.
