Cross Country Unveils 2022 Slate

Six events on the schedule
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University cross country team announced its 2022 schedule on Tuesday, featuring six meets.
"I am so excited for this year's meet schedule," coach Caleb Bowen said. "We were able to find very competitive meets in a close proximity to Huntington and to our recruiting bases. Each meet we go to will build upon the others and set us up for a great conference and regional championship later in the fall."
"Going into our first Sunbelt Championship, we want to be fully prepared to make a splash at the championship. We have a lot of great talent on our team and we are much more experienced. It's going to be a fun season."
The Herd will begin the fall at the Mike Baumer XC Classic in Dayton, Ohio, hosted by Wright State on September 2nd before heading to the Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational on September 16th in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Marshall starts the month of October at the Louisville Classic (October 1st) followed by the Falcon Invitational (October 14th) hosted by Bowling Green.
The Sunbelt Championships are set to be held in Foley, Alabama, on October 29th with the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional taking place in State College, Pennsylvania, on November 11th.

Friday, September 16th – Virginia Tech Alumni Invitational – Blacksburg, Va.
Saturday, October 1st – Louisville Classic – Louisville, Ky.
Friday, October 14th – Falcon Invitational – Bowling Green, Ohio
Saturday, October 29th – Sunbelt Championships – Foley, Alabama
Friday, November 11th – NCAA Mid Atlantic Regional – State College, Pa.
