HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University women's soccer team begins its 2022 season at home against High Point on Thursday night. First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Hoops Family Field.

Head coach Michael Swan enters his third season at the helm of the Herd.
Marshall women's soccer welcomes 10 newcomers to the squad.
Returning to Huntington includes Kat Gonzalez and Morgan White, each garnered third-team all-Conference USA honors last season, along with Meg Jarvis, who was named to the conference's all-freshman team.
Jarvis and Gonzalez were the team's leading goal scorers last season with five each.
White finished tied with Courtney Corcoran with for the team lead in assists with two.
SCOUTING HIGH POINT
The Panthers were tabbed to finish second in the 2022 Big South Coaches' Preseason Poll.
High Point earned a bid in the 2021 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
Like the Herd, the Panthers welcome a handful of new faces with nine student-athletes joining its side this season.
