PREGAME NOTES
The Herd enter the week with a 2-4 record in conference play with the lone unbeaten team in the Sun Belt being JMU (6-0).
Junior guard Abby Beeman notched her second double double of the season in the team's last game.Â
Beeman, who surpassed 1,500 points for her career Saturday, acknowledges the fight the team possesses entering a new week of games.
"I like the fight of our teammates," Beeman said. "We hate losing and you can see it on our faces after games, we're looking forward to turning that around and I think it is good that we are not okay with losing, it lights a fire under us."
Graduate transfer Shanniah Wright has come on strong in the month of January. The Brooklyn native finished with a season-best 10 points and seven rebounds against Coastal Carolina last Thursday. Wright shot 88 percent from the field last week.
