HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team (12-15, 4-9 Sun Belt) fell in three sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-21) on Friday night in Harrisonburg, Virginia, to the (RV) James Madison Dukes (18-6, 11-2 Sun Belt).
With 16 assists, 11 digs and 10 kills, Brynn Brown registered her fourth triple-double of the season.
Peyton Neal recorded a match-high 16 digs for MU in the match.
The Herd couldn't get on top of Dukes in the first set, falling 25-18. Marshall then fell in the second 25-17 seeing one lead with the score tied twice in the frame.
MU battled in the third. The third set featured six lead changes and the score was tied 12 times, but JMU held off Marshall's push, 25-21, to seal the match.

The Herd is set for another matchup with the Dukes Saturday at 1 p.m. in Harrisonburg.
