HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University swimmer Jenna Bopp competed at the 2023 Toyota U.S. Open on Friday and Saturday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
"It is an incredible accomplishment to qualify for a meet like this," Herd swimming and diving head coach Ian Walsh said about Bopp competing at the event. "Jenna is only the fourth student athlete to do so in program history. We learned a lot through this racing experience and enjoyed the little moments along the way. Jenna is excited to get back to the team and return to training. The staff and her team couldn't be prouder of her."
The junior from Wheeling, West Virginia, competed in the 100m Breaststroke Time Trial on Friday with a time of 1:14.06.
Bopp finished action on Saturday in the 200m Breaststroke finishing the race in 2:43.44 as one the top-55 performers at the national showcase.
