Marshall took the doubles point
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Marshall University tennis team (3-3) fell to the West Virginia Mountaineers (4-2), 4-3, on Friday afternoon in Morgantown.

"It was a tough loss. We will be ready to go Sunday," Herd tennis head coach John Mercer said after the defeat.

The Herd took the doubles point with 6-1 victories from Johanna Strom/Emma Vanderheyden at number one doubles and a 6-4 victory at number three doubles by Sophia Hurrion/Aisling McGrane

Strom took her match at number three singles in straight sets as Doroteja Joksovic captured her contest at number two singles in a three-set battle.
