HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall women's basketball team (15-11, 8-7 SBC) travels north from Statesboro to face the Georgia State Panthers.Â

- Freshman Sydni Scott is coming off a career-high 17-point performance. Scott made five three-pointers, becoming the third Herd player to make five or more in a game this season (Terah Harness - Six vs. Davis & Elkins; Roshala Scott - Five vs. UTM, at USF).Â
- Senior Kia Sivils grabbed a team-high seven rebounds Thursday. Sivils is one of three seniors who will be honored next Wednesday for Senior Night (Kendall Miller and Shanniah Wright).
- Redshirt-junior Mahogany Matthews enters Saturday with 97 career blocks, 52 coming this season. Talequia Hamilton and Chelsey Romero are tied for the third-most blocks in a single season in program history with 54.

ABOUT THE PANTHERS
Georgia State enters Saturday at 10-18 and 4-11 in Sun Belt play. GSU plays at a slow pace, averaging 61.9 points per game while allowing 61.2 points per game.Â
Leading scorer Mikyla Tolivert leads the conference with a 51.4% field goal percentage. Tolivert had 18 when the Panthers visited Huntington on Feb. 4.
The Herd rallied with a 19-6 fourth quarter performance to take the five-point win when the two teams last met.
