Herd Tennis Travels to Illinois to Take on Fighting Illini

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University tennis team (4-3) heads to Champaign, Illinois, to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini (4-3) on Saturday.

The Herd's match originally scheduled for Saturday in East Lansing, Michigan, against Michigan State was canceled on Thursday.

Johanna Strom earned Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week after going 3-0 last week. The freshman has taken her last seven contests between doubles and singles.

SCOUTING ILLINOIS
The Fighting Illini are 4-3 and have taken their last two contests 4-0 at Missouri and 5-2 against Illinois State.

Megan Houser is 4-2 in singles this spring between number three and four singles while Josie Frazier is 4-2 playing contests at number two, three and four singles.
