Narrow 4-3 decision
HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Marshall University tennis team (14-8, 7-4 Sun Belt) dropped a narrow 4-3 to the James Madison Dukes (13-7, 9-1 Sun Belt) in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on Saturday.
"It was a great college tennis match," Herd tennis head coach John Mercer said after the match. "It just stinks being on the losing side. We had several good opportunities, just need to capitalize on those chances."

With a 6-1, 6-4, straight sets win over Daria Afanasyeva on court two, Vanderheyden registered her 11th singles win of the spring.
