Marshall Softball Adds Four Transfers to Roster

Gerlach, Glanz, Henson and Parks join the Herd
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University softball head coach Morgan Zerkle announced the addition of four transfer student-athletes ahead of the 2023-24 athletic season Monday. Bella Gerlach, Reagan Glanz, Lindsay Henson, and Kasia Parks have officially joined the Herd softball program.

Corydon, Indiana
Bella Gerlach made 15 starts as a freshman for Western Michigan in 2023. The Indiana native made 13 putouts with 11 assists in the infield for the Broncos. The high school standout in the state of Indiana hit .552 with 47 home runs and 121 RBI for Corydon Central. Gerlach will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Reagan Glanz is a four-time first-team All-League catcher from Aberdeen, Washington. Glanz earned her undergraduate degree from Newberry College. In 2023 with Francis Marion University, Glanz hit .333 with three home runs. Defensively behind the plate, Glanz had 157 putouts, 11 assists, and a .994 fielding percentage in 2023, earning First Team All-Conference catcher. She will have one season of eligibility remaining.
Lindsay Henson

Lawrenceburg, Indiana
Lindsay Henson is a transfer pitcher from Drury University. In 2023 with the Panthers, Henson compiled a 1.23 ERA with 42 strikeouts. Before Drury, Henson was a Second Team All-American with Jones College, where she struck out 50 batters in 49.1 IP, while also slugging for 14 home runs and 53 RBI. Henson will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
Kasia Parks

Lexington, Kentucky
Kasia Parks is coming off a season where she was a Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll member for Western Kentucky. Parks scored 15 runs in 15 games started for the WKU Hilltoppers. The Lexington, Kentucky native had 11 assists with a .939 fielding percentage in 2023. Prior to her collegiate career, Parks played her prep ball at Frederick Douglass High School. As a senior she batted .565, & set the record with 37 stolen bases for the Lady Broncos. She will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
