HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall women's basketball team - 3-0 in league play - hits the road for its first two-game Sun Belt Conference trip. The Herd faces Georgia State Thursday morning at 11 a.m. before traveling to face Coastal Carolina Saturday afternoon.

PRE-GAME NOTES
- Marshall is 3-0 in SBC play, tied atop the league's lead with JMU.
- Marshall has several league leaders in individual statistical categories. Abby Beeman leads the conference in assists per game, with 5.6. Mahogany Matthews is also at the top with 2.1 blocked shots per game.
- Coach Kim Caldwell collected her 200th win of the season on Saturday. The first-year head coach met with the media Monday.

ABOUT GEORGIA STATE
- Georgia State is 2-1 in conference play with an 8-5 overall record. The team is 5-3 at home.
- Sixth-year Head Coach Gene Hill's team is led by three scorers averaging double figures in points per game, with Mikyla Tolivert averaging 14.4 PPG. The junior guard recorded her first career double-double against the Herd last season.
- The Panthers were picked 13th in the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Poll.
ABOUT COASTAL CAROLINA
- The Chanticleers are 7-9 overall, while entering the third week of league play with a 1-2 record.
- Coach Kevin Pederson is in his second season in Conway, with Preseason All-SBC Third Team member Deaja Richardson leading the team with 16.0 PPG.
- The Chanticleers were picked 10th in the SBC Preseason Poll.
