HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Start times for Marshall Men's Basketball's games played on Saturdays will shift to 4 p.m., starting with the Jan. 13 contest against South Alabama.

In addition to Saturday's contest against South Alabama, other games impacted by the change include the Jan. 27 contest against Southern Miss and the Feb. 24 contest against App State, which is Senior Day.

"After discussing with select members of our fan committee, we felt the change to mid-afternoon games provided a much more family-friendly experience for our fans," said Ryan Crisp, Associate Athletic Director for Annual Giving, Ticket Sales and Fan Engagement. "Our Dec. 30 contest against Louisiana was a major success, so the decision was made to change the remainder of Saturday games from 7 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the best interest of our fans."

With the announced changes, all remaining Saturday home games on the men's basketball schedule will be 4 p.m. contests.

In addition to the aforementioned games, Marshall also had a previously-scheduled 4 p.m. game against Coastal Carolina on Feb. 3 that is part of a doubleheader with the women's basketball team that day.
