Cross Country to Compete at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships Friday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall Cross Country squads will be racing at one-of-eight NCAA Regional Championship races Friday, the Mid-Atlantic Region hosted by Penn State University in State College, Pa.
The women race a 6K at noon on Friday, with the men competing in the 10K an hour later.
The regional championships determine individual and team qualifiers for next week's NCAA XC Championship Finals from Madison, Wisc. Last season, Marshall's Abby Herring became the first female in program history to qualify for the Finals. For more information on how the NCAA Cross Country Championships work, click HERE.

"We are excited to be going to State College for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships," Head Coach Caleb Bowen said. "This meet is always such a fun experience and a great opportunity to compete against some of the best athletes in the country.
