HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Men's Basketball team is set to open the 2024-25 regular season on Monday night against Davis & Elkins. Opening tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday in the Cam Henderson Center.

PRE-GAME NOTES
- Monday night marks the first contest of the Corny Jackson era as his first game as Head Coach of the Thundering Herd.
- Marshall returns six players from the 2023-24 roster including Nate Martin and Obinna Anochili-Killen, who were named first- and second-team preseason all-SBC.
- 10 newcomers are on the roster for the season. Cade Gibbs and Jakob Gibbs were CSC NAIA Academic All-Americans last year leading Grace College to the NAIA Fab Four.
ABOUT THE SENATORS
- The Senators are led by first-year Head Coach Daniel Harris heading into the 2024-25 season.
- D&E finished 15-14 last season exiting in the quarterfinals of the Mountain East Conference Tournament.
- Sam Rolle IV returns for a fifth year after leading the Senators with 18.0 points per game and dishing out 154 assists.
