HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Coach Juli Fulks and the Marshall women's basketball team (3-5) returns to the Cam Henderson Center Friday, Dec. 10 against Jacksonville (6-3). Tip is a special 11 a.m. morning time for Education Day.

Coach Juli Fulks
- On Apr. 12, 2024, Coach Juli Fulks became the ninth head coach in the history of the Herd.
- Fulks - the 2024 WBCA DIII Coach of the Year - joins Marshall with 400 career victories in 20 seasons, winning the 2023 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball National Championship.
PRE-GAME NOTES
- Senior guard Aislynn Hayes remains the team and league-leader in scoring with 17.5 points per game. Junior Meredith Maier is averaging 12.5 PPG and after a 20-point performance Sunday, Madison Kellione is now averaging double figures as well (11.1).
- Marshall as a team is third in the SBC, averaging 15.4 offensive rebounds per contest. Junior Blessing King is sixth with 3.4 offensive boards per game.
- After Friday, the Herd has just two contests remaining before entering league play - at Cincinnati (Dec. 18), vs. Davis & Elkins (Dec. 21).
- Marshall defeated Jacksonville in Florida last season, 102-77 in the first meeting between the two programs.

ABOUT JACKSONVILLE
- Jacksonville is 6-3 in the second season for Coach Special Jennings. The Dolphins defeated Georgia Southern last Thursday in its most recent contest.
- Senior guard Edyn Battle is averaging 19.1 points per game for JU. Last season's ASUN Newcomer of the Year scored 26 against the Herd last year. She scored 10+ points in 29-of-31 games last year.
- The Dolphins are first in NCAA DI with 20.4 made free throws per game. The 28.0 free throw attempts are second in the nation, slightly behind Michigan State (28.2).
