PREMATCH NOTES
- The Herd went 1-1 last weekend falling to WVU and picking up a victory over Radford.
- Johanna Strom went a perfect 2-0 at No. 1 singles with Emma Vanderheyden taking both of her matches at No. 2 singles.
- The two as a pairing went 1-1 at No. 1 doubles in the two matches.
SCOUTING MIAMI (OH)
- The RedHawks enter Friday 3-2 having won their last three matches 7-0 over Indianapolis, Dayton and Chicago State.
- Emilia Valentinsson is 3-1 in singles with all of her contests played at number 4.
SCOUTING VIRGINIA TECH
- The Hokies enter the weekend 2-1 with wins over Radford and ETSU while falling to WVU.
- Virginia Tech will play a neutral match against Miami (OH) on Saturday in Barboursville.
- Tamara Barad Itzhaki is 3-0 at number three singles this season.
