HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall women's basketball team (17-6, 11-1 SBC) will spend the next two weeks away from home for a four-game road trip. The Herd opens the trip with a noon Thursday trip at App State (13-11, 6-6 SBC).

- Marshall leads the league in scoring offense (84.0 PPG), steals per game (13.2), three-pointers per game (10.2), and turnovers forced per game (23.48).

ABOUT APP STATE
- App State is 13-11 overall, and 6-6 in conference play. The Mountaineers are 8-1 at home in Boone.
- Senior guard Faith Alston leads the team with 18.5 PPG. Alston scored a team-high 16 points when the teams faced off in Huntington last month.
- The Herd won that game, 81-69 at the Cam Henderson Center. The game was a two-point difference at halftime before MU outscored App 23-9 in the 3rd quarter.
ABOUT ODU
- Old Dominion enters the week 17-6, and 8-4 in SBC play.
- En'Dya Buford leads the team with 11.6 PPG. Simone Cunningham is the team's leading rebounder with 6.9 per game.
- Marshall defeated the Monarchs, 90-60 in Huntington last month.
