COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Marshall University Tennis (9-5) dropped its final non-conference match of the season, 5-2, to the Maryland Terrapins (5-4) on Saturday in College Park, Maryland.

"Gabby and Rieke did a great to comeback and win in doubles," Herd Tennis head coach John Mercer said. "We just didn't play well enough in key spots to finish the job."

Gabrielle Clairotte and Rieke Gillar sealed the doubles point in thrilling fashion. The pair entered a tiebreak in the deciding match with the pair taking contest 7-6 (5). Sophia Hurrion and Aisling McGrane also took their matchup on court two 6-2.

McGrane also took her singles contest on court six in a supertiebreak, 6-7, 7-6, 10-3.
